About us
For us, helping people get International Driving Permits is both our business and our passion. Members of our team have been in multiple situations in the past in which Fast IDP would have been a godsend, so we’re able to relate personally to needing help getting an IDP urgently. We love hearing stories from our customers about how working with us to get an expedited IDP made their travel plans possible.
Our team at Fast IDP is knowledgeable in everything pertaining to International Driving Permits and is always willing to answer any questions you may have. On top of that, we take data privacy extremely seriously and delete customer files after the IDP has been received.
Our history
Fast IDP started after our founder Jamie needed to make an urgent trip to Japan for a few weeks. It was only after getting there that he realized he needed to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) to be allowed to drive. With no legitimate option other than to mail an IDP application to AAA and wait 5-7 weeks for its return, Jamie found himself needing to get around rural Japan for a month without a way to drive. Jamie was frustrated by the inability to drive and by the many websites selling illegitimate IDPs and spreading misinformation about the IDP process. Upon returning to the US, Jamie decided that this was a problem he wanted to solve, so he started Fast IDP and is now joined by a truly top-notch team of people who are both excellent at their jobs and a joy to work with.
